I began teaching at Belvoir in 2015. I am lucky to teach every student in our school! I work with K-5, as well as the 4th and 5th grade orchestras and after school chorus. I received my Bachelors of Music Education and Bachelors of Voice Performance from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I completed my Masters of Voice Performance and Pedagogy at East Carolina University. I co-founded Bowling Green Children's Opera, a touring company that brings opera to various elementary schools throughout the midwest in an accessible, fun way. Though I can no long tour with the company, I still create a set of supplemental lesson plans that can be utilized by each school.
My family includes my husband, Scott, and our two dogs, Ivy and Lyla. I enjoy traveling, cooking (but mostly eating!), being outdoors, and spending time with my family.
